Rockhopper Marine is a Glasgow consultancy run by a former merchant navy master who moved ashore into ship management, salvage, pilotage, port operations and towage. Work now includes draught surveys, sea trials of new builds, tow master duties and submersible barge moves, vessel security and ISPS paperwork with class, and audits, investigations and drills for ports under the Port Marine Safety Code. He holds associate membership of the UK Harbour Masters' Association and works with operators under the Workboat Code.
