Deakin Marine

Deakin Marine was set up in 2004 by Andrew Deakin to survey and advise on GRP, steel and wooden boats, both leisure and commercial. He holds qualifications in naval architecture from Southampton Institute and in marine surveying from IIMS, has completed the Westlawn Yacht and Boat Design Program, and has worked as a boatbuilder in Australia, New Zealand and at Ryan and Roberts Marine Services in Askeaton. Services include pre-purchase surveys, refit supervision and stability work, and he lists RINA membership.
